and said, "My lord, if now I have found favor in your sight, please don’t go away from your servant.
but his delight is in Yahweh’sa law. On his law he meditates day and night.
Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahweh, and against his Anointed [a], saying,
"Yet I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion."
I will tell of the decree. Yahweh said to me, "You are my son. Today I have become your father.
You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel."
But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
a Yahweh, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth, who has set your glory above the heavens!

Against you, and you only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight; that you may be proved right when you speak, and justified when you judge.
The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance. He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked;
so that men shall say, "Most certainly there is a reward for the righteous. Most certainly there is a God who judges the earth."
a How lovely are your dwellings, Yahweh of Armies!
My soul longs, and even faints for the courts of Yahweh.
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
Yes, the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young, near your altars, Yahweh of Armies, my King, and my God.
I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust."
He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
I will exalt you, my God, the King. I will praise your name forever and ever.
The fortress shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria. They will be as the glory of the children of Israel ,” says Yahweh of Armies.
The earth also is polluted under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, and broken the everlasting covenant.
Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell therein are found guilty. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
It shall happen in that day that Yahweh will punish the army of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth on the earth.
They shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison; and after many days shall they be visited.
Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for Yahweh of Armies will reign on Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem; and before his elders will be glory.
In this mountain, Yahweh of Armies will make all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of choice wines, of fat things full of marrow, of well refined choice wines.
Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of Yahweh of Armies:
For your Maker is your husband; Yahweh of Armies is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called.
For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed,” says Yahweh who has mercy on you.
He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I answered, “Lord Yahweh, you know.“
“Thus says Yahweh of Armies: ‘If you will walk in my ways, and if you will follow my instructions, then you also shall judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you a place of access among these who stand by.
"A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, then where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is the respect due me? Says Yahweh of Armies to you, priests, who despise my name. You say, ‘How have we despised your name?’
"For, behold, the day comes, it burns as a furnace; and all the proud, and all who work wickedness, will be stubble; and the day that comes will burn them up," says Yahweh of Armies, "that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
You shall tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make," says Yahweh of Armies.
"Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!"
" Even now the axe lies at the root of the trees. Therefore every tree that doesn’t bring forth good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.
As they went on the way, a certain man said to him, "I want to follow you wherever you go, Lord."
They entered in, and didn’t find the Lord Jesus’ body.
Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.
For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not give false testimony,"[a] "You shall not covet," [b] and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." [c]
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies a.
Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain.
You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
Don’t grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won’t be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door.
But above all things, my brothers, don’t swear, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath; but let your “yes” be “yes,” and your “no,” “no;” so that you don’t fall under judgment.
For there are certain men who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into indecency, and denying our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ.
The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!"
