The earth yielded grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, with its seed in it, after their kind; and God saw that it was good.

He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.

You have put gladness in my heart,
more than when their grain and their new wine are increased.

But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in God’s house. I trust in God’s loving kindness forever and ever.
